Regarding the Law project amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, the Government is interested in discussing and clarifying the contents on the maximum age limit for officers serving on active duty; some regimes and policies for military officers.
Notably, the Government spent time discussing the proposal to develop a Law to amend and supplement a number of articles of the Planning Law, Investment Law, Investment Law according to the public-private partnership method and the Bidding Law.

The Government agreed to propose adding a number of product groups subject to special consumption tax; amend and supplement a number of regulations on taxpayers; time of tax determination; taxable price; tax rate; tax bases; regulations on tax refund, tax deduction, tax reduction... in the Special Consumption Tax Law project (amended).
Emphasizing the importance of law-making work, the Prime Minister requested ministers and heads of ministerial-level agencies to directly direct; Arrange resources and qualified and dedicated staff for the work of building and perfecting laws and institutions.
The Head of the Government said that at the upcoming 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, the Government will submit to the National Assembly for opinions on 11 laws, consider and pass 14 laws, the task set is very heavy. .

The Prime Minister noted that the process of developing and completing law and ordinance projects must ensure the strengthening of decentralization and thorough decentralization; mobilize and allocate resources effectively; Design tools to enhance monitoring, inspection, and power control.
At the same time, it is necessary to reduce and simplify administrative procedures to contribute to reducing costs for businesses and improving the business investment environment; Eliminate the asking-giving mechanism and reduce intermediaries.
Reduce compliance costs for organizations, people, and businesses; Do not allow the situation of installing regulations for group or local interests or creating an environment for corruption and negativity in legal projects.
