Consider awarding the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to Major General Nguyen Van Vien - Director of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Ministry of Public Security.
Major General Nguyen Van Vien, born January 16, 1966. Hometown: Dai Hung commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi city.
From April 2013 to May 2014: Mr. Vien was the Chief of District Police, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Ung Hoa District Police, Hanoi City.
From June 2014 to March 2018: Mr. Vien held the position of Chief of Office (now Advice Office), Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee.
From April 2018 to May 2020: Mr. Vien was Deputy Director, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee.
From June 1, 2020 to present, as Party Secretary, Director of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Deputy Head of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security.
During his term in office, Mr. Vien and the Party Committee and leadership of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department
Focus on leading and directing units and forces at local police to synchronously and drastically implement professional measures.
As the "commander", core, and backbone on the front of drug crime prevention and control, with specific targets and measures, Major General Nguyen Van Vien led the unit to successfully complete key, sudden, and comprehensive tasks in all major aspects of work: Advice and guidance; organization and implementation; direct combat; international cooperation; force building and logistics support for combat.
Major General Nguyen Van Vien is recognized for his contribution to gradually controlling the complicated drug situation, preventing early, far-reaching, and drug smuggling into our country, making an important contribution to protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety of the country.

Awarding the title of "National Emulation Fighter" to Captain Nguyen Tu Thien - Deputy Head of Party and Political Affairs Department, Can Tho City Police.
