On February 17, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province visited and worked with micro Commercial Components Vietnam Co., Ltd., Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Yen Phong district.
Started in November 2023, micro Commercial Components Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a 100% Chinese enterprise) specializes in manufacturing and assembling semiconductor equipment, with a total investment of 90 million USD.
Up to now, the factory has conducted phase 1 trial production. Phase 2 is expected to start construction in 2026 and be tested in the fourth quarter of 2027.
At the meeting, the company's leaders requested the authorities of Bac Ninh province to guide the procedures to renovate the fire prevention and fighting functional site in accordance with production conditions; have a plan to ensure stable power supply; procedures to apply for a labor license for foreigners working at the company...
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized: Semiconductor manufacturing is a field that the province is particularly interested in, aiming to turn Bac Ninh into a center for semiconductor and artificial intelligence industrial production.
Regarding the recommendation on fire prevention and fighting, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested the company to proactively complete documents on fire prevention and fighting according to regulations; the Provincial Police directed the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department to continue to pay attention, guide, and create maximum support conditions for the company.
Regarding the proposal on labor licensing, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan suggested that the company proactively post labor recruitment information according to the provisions of Vietnamese law; the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs continue to coordinate and guide the Company in carrying out procedures to receive foreign technical workers to work in the province.
Regarding the supply of electricity, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that for businesses in the area, the power source is being cared for to create maximum conditions and up to now there has been no reflection on the quality and ensure the power supply according to the required capacity.
Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan assigned Bac Ninh Power Company to guide the company to implement the next steps, ensuring power sources for production in the coming period; The Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board will be the unit to receive information and resolve recommendations from investors in the province.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also requested micro Commercial Components Vietnam Co., Ltd. to speed up the implementation progress of phase 2 to start construction this year.
