On January 15, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga issued an open letter calling for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
Accordingly, in recent years, Tuyen Quang has always identified poverty reduction, temporary housing elimination, and improving people's lives as key tasks. In the 2021-2024 period, the locality has supported the elimination of over 7,000 temporary houses.
However, up to now, there are still 6,000 families living in substandard housing.
In response to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025" launched by the Prime Minister with the message "Millions of loving hearts - Thousands of happy roofs", the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses calls on people, civil servants, workers, businesses, and philanthropists to continue to respond and support in spirit and material.
With the motto "Whoever has something contributes, whoever has merit contributes merit, whoever has property contributes property, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little" to complete support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for families of people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, and near-poor households in Tuyen Quang province before September 2, 2025.
The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Tuyen Quang Province will direct effective management and use, for the right purposes, and in a transparent and public manner.
