According to initial information, at around 00:05 the same day (New Year's Eve), Mr. Dinh Van Hung's wooden house in village 3 (An Toan commune) suddenly caught fire.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities mobilized people in the area to help put out the fire.
At the time of the fire, no one was in the house so there were no casualties, however the entire house and property were burned down. It is known that Mr. Hung's house was newly built at a cost of more than 350 million VND.
On the same morning, leaders of An Lao District People's Committee and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs visited, encouraged and supported Mr. Hung's family with 5 million VND.
The leaders of An Lao District People's Committee also requested An Toan Commune to regularly encourage, visit the family, and provide timely necessities so that Mr. Hung's family can celebrate Tet; strengthen propaganda and mobilize local people to raise awareness of fire safety to avoid causing damage to people and property.
