Article 7 of the 2018 Law on People's Public Security (amended and supplemented in 2023) stipulates that the Minister of Public Security shall issue regulations on the selection of citizens into the People's Public Security, including regulations on political standards of People's Public Security officers and soldiers.
According to the provisions of Decision No. 25/QD-TTg dated April 11, 2023 of the Prime Minister promulgating the list of state secrets in the field of national security and social order and safety, the document of the Ministry of Public Security stipulates that the political standards of police officers and soldiers are state secrets.
Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security recommends that Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung contact the admissions department of the local police to get answers about political standards and conditions for taking the entrance exam to the police schools.
