On January 14, the Lai Chau Provincial Military Command held a Conference to announce the Minister of National Defense's decision on reorganizing the Commune and Ward-level Military Commands under the Provincial Military Command and award personnel decisions to cadres under the Provincial Military Command.
Specifically, appointing 38 officials to hold the positions of Commanders of the Military Commands of communes and wards in Lai Chau province.
Speaking to direct the conference, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ngan - Deputy Head of the Political Department of Military Region 2 congratulated the comrades who were appointed to hold the positions of Commanders of the Military Commands of communes and wards in the province.
Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ngan requested that, in the immediate future, the Commune and Ward-level Military Command quickly grasp the tasks, stabilize the organization, not to interrupt local military and national defense work; ensure combat readiness, and serve political tasks well.
Including defending the 14th National Party Congress, the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies of all levels for the 2026-2031 term; military recruitment and welcoming discharged soldiers to localities in 2026.
