On the afternoon of January 14, implementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), 100% of delegates attending the 6th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, voted and consulted to elect Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF, Central Unions, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to hold the position of Vice Chairwoman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, term 2024-2029.
The Conference also agreed to elect 18 members who are members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, elect 5 members to participate in the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including Ms. Bui Huyen Mai - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City as non-specialized Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that in the context of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels operating in a new model, the role and influence of the Fatherland Front are increasingly broad, clearly affirming its important position in the political system and people's lives.
According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, not only is it a bridge between the Party, State and people, but the Fatherland Front is also a sweet flag of solidarity and humanity, gathering the will and belief of the people in the period of renovation and integration of the country.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that in order to promote the great role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in consolidating and building the great national unity bloc, creating social consensus, and together towards the goal of building a prosperous country and a happy life for the people in the new term, she herself and the newly appointed officials to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front realize that they must constantly strive and strive to maintain political and moral qualities, lifestyle, maintain discipline, continue to study theory, stick to reality, humbly learn from the experiences of the elders, comrades, and the collective of the Standing Committee, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, unite and unify to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
In my new position, I hope to continue to receive the attention, leadership, direction, and creation of conditions from the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party and State leaders and comrade Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, the attention, assistance, and coordination of departments, ministries, branches, central and local agencies, especially the encouragement, motivation and transmission of valuable experiences of previous generations of leaders, the attention and support of elders, dignitaries, and comrades in the Standing Committee, Presidium, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations, as well as the contingent of Fatherland Front cadres at all levels so that I can successfully complete my tasks in the coming time," Ms. Ha Thi Nga expressed.
