    The Prime Minister appointed and reappointed 3 military personnel, of which Major General Le Dinh Cuong held the position of Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

    On September 18, the Prime Minister issued decisions to appoint and reappoint leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of National Defense and Information of Vietnam.

    The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2086/QD-TTg to reappoint the position of Commander of the Navy to Vice Admiral of the Navy Tran Thanh Nghiem - Member of the Party Central Committee. This decision takes effect from September 11, 2025.

    In Decision No. 2089/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Le Dinh Cuong - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard to hold the position of Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard. This decision takes effect from September 18, 2025.
