On June 10, Hanoi City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi Police presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security to appoint Colonel Nguyen Duc Long, Head of the Criminal Police Department, to the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Hanoi City, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung congratulated the new Deputy Director of Hanoi Police and affirmed that the Decision to appoint Comrade Nguyen Duc Long demonstrates the trust, recognition and appreciation of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for Comrade Nguyen Duc Long in particular and for the team of City Police officers in general in the cause of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety in the capital.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Long is considered a cadre with strong political will, good moral qualities; exemplary, dedicated, close to work, scientific, creative thinking, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good; with outstanding and outstanding abilities; with high qualifications, expertise in politics, professional skills, and law; has been tested and trained through many units, fields, and working positions; including more than 25 years of working in the field of investigation and crime prevention; has held the positions of District Police Chief - Head of Dong Da District Police Investigation Agency; Head of the Criminal Police Department - Deputy Head of Hanoi Police Investigation Agency.

Speaking at the assignment, Colonel Nguyen Duc Long affirmed that in his new position, he will continuously practice, study, improve leadership capacity, professional work and immediately start performing assigned tasks.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Long hopes to continue to receive the attention and close direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee and the Director of the City Police.
