Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee have just held a ceremony to award the decision to appoint the position of Director, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice.

During the past week, from (September 30 to October 4), many decisions related to personnel work and personnel mobilization in localities were implemented.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 1, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai presided over the ceremony to hand over the personnel decision. Accordingly, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh was appointed as Director of the Department of Justice, replacing Mr. Huynh Van Hanh who retired from October 1.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (50 years old, from Binh Thuan) has a Master's degree in Law, Bachelor's degree in Politics, and Advanced degree in Political Theory.

Ms. Hanh has worked at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice since 2003 and has held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Justice since March 16, 2018. Previously, she held the position of Head of the Organization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice. In July 2021, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh was a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.

In his speech assigning tasks, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai emphasized that the new Director of the Department of Justice Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh has affirmed her capacity over a long period of time as Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, a National Assembly delegate, and has made many contributions to Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee acknowledged her contributions and hoped that Ms. Hanh would continue to promote her capacity and experience and excellently complete her tasks.

Also related to personnel work, on the afternoon of October 1, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province organized the announcement and awarding of the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee decided to appoint Mr. Tran Minh Hong - Head of the Department of Administration and Judicial Support (under the Department of Justice), to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Justice. The term of appointment is 5 years, starting from October 1, 2024.
