Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Le Viet Thang - Director of Yen Bai Provincial Police Department presented the decision to appoint Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Do - Head of Yen Bai City Police Department as Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Viet Thang - Director of Yen Bai Provincial Police hoped that in his new position, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Do, together with the Party Committee and police leaders, will closely coordinate with departments, branches and localities in ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Do - Deputy Director of Yen Bai Provincial Police said that in the coming time, he will continue to work with the Party Committee and leaders of the provincial police to carry out key tasks; inherit and promote glorious achievements, strive to excellently complete the tasks that the Party and State have entrusted him with.
Also at the ceremony, Yen Bai Provincial Police announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on dissolving district-level police in implementing the policy of arranging and streamlining the local police apparatus to operate effectively, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
The leaders of Yen Bai Provincial Police Department presented decisions on the transfer of 47 leaders of the police at the district and department levels after the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus.
