On January 17, at the Guard Command (Ministry of Public Security), Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security - presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer and appoint Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police - to take up the job and hold the position of Commander of the Guard Command.
At the ceremony, the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee on personnel work.
Accordingly, General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security - signed a decision to transfer and appoint Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police - to take up the position of Commander of the Guard Command, Ministry of Public Security from January 17, 2025.
Decision of the Central Public Security Party Committee on appointing Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - Commander of the Guard Command - to join the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guard Command for the 2020-2025 term.
Presenting the decision and congratulating Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - the new Commander of the Guard Command - who was trusted and assigned important responsibilities by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security - reviewed the working process of Colonel Pham Thanh Hung. Colonel Pham Thanh Hung, 51 years old, has been Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police since July 2022.
Upon receiving the appointment decision, Colonel Pham Thanh Hung confirmed that this is a great honor and responsibility. He pledged to always try, strive, and make continuous efforts together with the Party Committee and the leadership of the Guard Command to focus on excellently completing the task so that the People's Public Security Guard force can truly be a solid and resilient shield to protect the Party.
