Ms. Nguyen Huyen Hanh - Deputy Director of the Institute of State Organizational Sciences - emphasized some outstanding results in the Ministry's scientific management work in 2024.
The Institute of State Organizational Sciences has proposed, consulted, and developed a draft Strategy for Science and Technology Development in the Home Affairs sector for the period 2025-2035.
The standardization of processes and procedures for management and acceptance of scientific and technological tasks of the Ministry of Home Affairs has improved the efficiency of scientific and technological management. In 2024, many tasks were accelerated to be completed ahead of schedule in the signed contract. No task was behind schedule.
In general, research from the grassroots to national levels conducted by units under and affiliated to the Ministry has contributed to providing scientific and practical arguments for the formulation of strategies, policies, and legal documents within the scope of state management of the Ministry, focusing on urgent issues arising in practice.
Notably, the Ministry of Home Affairs' Scientific Council also proposed 8 key tasks in 2025 with 6 recommendations and proposals to help strengthen the Ministry's scientific research activities in 2025 to develop better and more comprehensively.
In particular, after the merger with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, it is necessary to promptly supplement new scientific tasks and reorganize the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
