At the Military Command (CHQS) of Lai Chau province: Colonel Trieu Kim Thang - Political Commissar of the Military Command of Lai Chau province chaired a conference to announce the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on calling reserve officers to serve in active duty, recruiting cadres, promoting officer ranks and recruiting professional soldiers.
These are reserve officers of commune-level civil servants currently holding the positions of Commander, Deputy Commander, Assistant of the Commune-level Military Command who were appointed before December 31, 2025 and meet the conditions.
At the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command: The Regional Defense Commands under the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command have organized a ceremony to announce the decision to call reserve officers to serve in active duty and recruit professional soldiers.
In this decision awarding ceremony, more than 250 typical comrades received decisions on personnel work. At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of 150 decisions of the Minister of National Defense on calling reserve officers to serve in the army to recruit professional soldiers.
Recruiting cadres, professional soldiers, and calling reserve officers to serve in the army is an important political task, meeting the requirements of training, combat readiness and building armed forces in localities in the new situation.
At the Dien Bien Provincial Military Command: Regional Defense Commands have organized conferences to announce and award decisions of the Ministry of National Defense on calling reserve officers to serve in the army, recruiting professional soldiers into commune-level Military Commands.
According to the announced decisions, in this phase, the Ministry of National Defense decided to call up and recruit nearly 90 reserve officers and professional soldiers to work at the Military Commands of communes and wards in the province. These are forces that previously held commune-level civil servant positions, reserve officers are now recruited and called up to serve in the army.
