Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 715/QD-TTg dated July 26, 2024 consolidating members of the National Committee on digital transformation.
Accordingly, Decision No. 715/QD-TTg appoints Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security , as a member of the National Committee on digital transformation, replacing General To Lam.
The decision takes effect from July 26, 2024.
The National Committee on Digital Transformation has the function of researching and making recommendations to the Government and the Prime Minister and helping the Government and the Prime Minister direct and coordinate the implementation of policies, strategies, mechanisms, policies to create a legal environment to promote the national digital transformation process, closely linked with administrative reform; building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; Facilitate the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
The Committee's mission is to research and propose to the Government and the Prime Minister directions and solutions to solve problems in implementing policies, strategies, mechanisms and policies to promote the transition process. change national numbers, closely linked with administrative reform; building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; Facilitate the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
Give opinions on strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, schemes and projects related to digital transformation; Building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities falls under the deciding authority of the Government and Prime Minister.
Besides, helping the Government and the Prime Minister direct ministries, branches and localities to implement digital transformation goals, tasks and solutions, build and develop e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; coordinate the implementation of strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, schemes, projects, and solutions of interdisciplinary nature on digital transformation, building and developing e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; General coordination of the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Program; Monitor and coordinate the implementation of relevant contents of the National Strategy on the Fourth Industrial Revolution to 2030.
