Dak Nong province proposes Ministry of Home Affairs to pay attention to arranging a team of lecturers with practical capacity and work experience to help localities organize training and fostering classes for officials and civil servants working on religious affairs according to Decision No. 43/QD-TTg dated January 11, 2022, of the Prime Minister on the Project "Fostering professional skills for officials and civil servants working on beliefs and religions for the period 2022-2026".
Regarding this issue, in response on the electronic information portal, the Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the training and fostering of professional skills in belief and religious affairs have been of interest to the Government by issuing Project No. 43, focusing on training and fostering for the following subjects: Civil servants working on state management of beliefs and religions of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs; specialized agencies performing state management tasks on beliefs and religions under the provincial and district People's Committees;
Officials and civil servants working on belief and religious affairs of political-social organizations at the central, provincial, and district levels, including the Fatherland Front, Women's Union, Farmers' Union, Youth Union, Veterans' Union; officials and civil servants of the Central, provincial, and district Mass Mobilization Committees; Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security; officials and civil servants concurrently working on belief and religious affairs at the commune level.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs has given close instructions on this issue, assigning the Government Committee for Religious Affairs to coordinate with the National Academy of Public Administration and relevant units to develop a plan to organize classes, focusing on skills and professional work on beliefs and religions for the team of officials.
Regarding the lecturers, the Ministry has compiled a list of lecturers with professional qualifications, practical capacity, and work experience to help localities organize training and fostering classes for officials and civil servants working on religious affairs.
The main lecturers are leaders of units under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs with a Master's degree or higher, with working time and many years of experience in state management of beliefs and religions.
In addition, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs invites lecturers who are knowledgeable about beliefs and religions; scientists, state managers from central agencies and units such as: Department of Homeland Security (Ministry of Public Security); Institute of Beliefs and Religions (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics); Institute of Religion (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences).
The principle is that each lecturer can present from 1 to 3 topics. Annually, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs organizes intensive training and fostering classes for provincial-level lecturers to be the core in implementing training and fostering professional skills for officials working on religious affairs in localities.
