Speaking at the opening of the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The two provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu used to have strong marine economic resources and many resources, comparative advantages, and room for development; now merging into one province, the inherent advantages and potential have been integrated, creating a strong "favor", increasing the province's potential many times and opening up new development space.
The situation of Ca Mau today is different from before. Ca Mau is no longer a remote, remote place, no longer the "end of the country", but Ca Mau has been identified by the Central Government as the "most southernmost province of the Fatherland", a gateway to the sea, with many different potentials, advantages and many outstanding opportunities.
That context, that potential, that advantage, has created a new momentum, new aspiration for Ca Mau to rise strongly, together with the whole country towards the goal of developing a prosperous and happy country.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Breakthrough - Development", the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee determined the high political determination in building and developing the province in the 2025 - 2030 period as: "Promoting the revolutionary heroic tradition, solidarity; building a clean and strong Party and political system; breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; taking advantage of opportunities, advantages and potential of the southernmost province to develop comprehensively; confidently entering a new era with the whole country".
The Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee suggested that the delegates promote their intelligence, closely follow reality and the needs of life to participate in contributing opinions to the documents submitted to the Congress, focus on in-depth, objective and honest analysis of outstanding results, as well as limitations and weaknesses; find the causes, especially subjective causes, summarize lessons learned; clearly identify goals, breakthroughs and key areas for socio-economic development, improve people's lives.
