Ca Mau donates 4.2 billion VND to support people in storm No. 10 and 11

Ca Mau - On the morning of October 16, at the first Banh Duong Provincial Party Congress, delegates raised donations to support the people in the North who suffered damage due to storms and floods.

The activity demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and compatriotism of cadres and party members of Ca Mau province in the context of many localities in the North and North Central regions suffering heavy damage due to storms and floods.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, the campaign was organized in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people to overcome the damage caused by natural disasters, especially caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Storm No. 10 has caused serious damage to people and property in many provinces in the North and North Central regions. In this situation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province sent their condolences and initial support of VND 2.8 billion to 8 provinces: Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Lao Cai, Son La, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Quang Tri.

Next, storm No. 11 ( Matmo) continues to cause damage in the northern mountainous provinces such as: Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Bac Ninh. Ca Mau province has promptly supported 1.4 billion VND for these 4 localities.

At the closing session organized by the Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province called on delegates to promote the spirit of solidarity, sharing, actively contributing both materially and spiritually, contributing with the leaders of Ca Mau province to support the people of the North to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

The representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province emphasized that with the spirit of "those with less contribute contribute less, those with more contribute more", the unit respectfully acknowledged and expressed gratitude for all the noble gestures and the joint efforts of the delegates attending the Congress. This is a valuable source of encouragement, contributing to giving people in disaster areas the strength to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province committed that all mobilized funds will be transferred to the right address, to the right subjects and promptly to people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.
