On the morning of August 25, the People's Council (HĐND) of Can Tho City (TP) term XI, term 2026-2031, held the fifth session (specialized session), to consider many urgent contents.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Can Tho City proceeded to elect and dismiss Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee (PC) of Can Tho City - due to being transferred to other work by competent authorities.
At the same time, dismissing Mr. Ha Vu Son and Mr. Le Thanh Tam due to being transferred to other work by competent authorities.
Also at the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Huyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City - was additionally elected by People's Council delegates as a member of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, term 2026-2031.
Ms. Tran Thi Huyen (born in 1978, native of Nghe An province) specializes in English University Pedagogy. Master's degree in Education Management. Advanced political theory. Before becoming Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, Ms. Huyen was Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang province (before the merger).
