On June 29, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce and present the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work for key leaders of units and localities. The activity took place in the context of the whole province preparing to switch to a two-level local government model from July 1.
At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee announced the decision to mobilize, rotate, appoint and appoint many key leaders. Accordingly:
Mr. Nong Thanh Tung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, was transferred to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Mr. Lam Duc Xuan - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, holds the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
Mr. Do Van Thang - Secretary of the Quang Hoa District Party Committee, holds the position of Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
Mr. La Hoai Nam - Secretary of Bao Lac District Party Committee, was introduced to be elected as Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2020-2025.
Ms. Hoang Hong Dieu - Secretary of Thach An District Party Committee, holds the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung - Secretary of the Hoa An District Party Committee, was appointed as Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Mr. Pham Xuan Tung - Secretary of the Nguyen Binh District Party Committee, holds the position of Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
Mr. Duong Hung Dung - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, holds the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee.
Ms. Ly Thi Hue - President of the Provincial Labor Federation, holds the position of President of the Provincial Farmers' Association.
Ms. Trieu Thi Kieu Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, was appointed to the position of Vice Principal of Hoang Dinh Giong Political School.
Mr. Nguyen Phuong Huy - Chairman of Ha Lang District People's Committee, holds the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Nhung - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, was introduced to be elected as Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, in charge of the Federation.
Mr. Truong The Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, holds the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office.
Also in the conference program, provincial leaders presented the decision to the team of secretaries in 56 newly reorganized communes and wards according to the two-level government model. This is a step to concretize the major policy of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on streamlining the apparatus organization, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the grassroots political system.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council announced a Resolution on reorganizing the Cao Bang Provincial Inspectorate, officially terminating inspection activities in 10 districts, cities and 12 departments and branches.
The Provincial Inspectorate was restructured and put into operation from July 1. Along with that, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province also announced the decisions to appoint the Chief Inspector and Deputy Chief Inspector of the province.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong emphasized: this large-scale transfer and appointment is a strategic step in the process of implementing the two-level government model, to ensure the local administrative apparatus operates streamlinedly and effectively, serving the people better.
On behalf of the comrades who received the decision, Mr. Do Van Thang - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee's Office expressed his gratitude for the trust of the provincial leaders, and pledged to strive to fulfill the tasks well, together with the unit and locality to unite, be proactive and creative in work, determined to strive to complete the set targets, especially in the preparation and organization of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
