At the meeting, Mr. Gernot Fattinger, Vice President of Technology of Qorvo Group, said that Qorvo is a semiconductor technology group, specializing in providing advanced solutions in the field of radio frequency (RF) and resource management, playing an important role in most of today's connected ecosystems.
With the most recent 12-month revenue reaching 3.7 billion USD, nearly 8 billion pieces of equipment shipped each year and about 6,200 employees globally, Qorvo maintains its position as a leading enterprise in technology innovation.
Qorvo's products are widely applied in many fields such as: Mobile devices, wearables, smart vehicles and ADAS systems, telecommunications networks and data centers, home appliances, smart homes, industry 4.0, national defense and aerospace.
In Vietnam, Qorvo Group has been implementing human resource training programs, research and development in the semiconductor industry.
In Bac Ninh province, the Group has cooperated with partners such as Amkor, Luxshare, Sunshin Technology to design and produce microchips and semiconductors. The Group has had a representative office in Bac Ninh province since July 14, 2025.
Appreciating the industrial infrastructure, investment environment, supply chain, especially the presence of a series of large corporations in the semiconductor industry in Bac Ninh, with these advantages, Mr. Gernot Fattinger said that the Group is willing to cooperate with Bac Ninh province to develop an advanced semiconductor and packaging ecosystem; develop supply chains, transfer technology and develop human resources; while promoting sustainable and long-term growth for the region.
Discussing at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan quickly informed about the socio-economic development situation, investment incentives in Bac Ninh, policies to support human resource training in the semiconductor and semiconductor access industries, specific mechanisms and policies for the semiconductor industry in particular and the high-tech industry in general.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the province will deploy the construction of a centralized IT Park and a Smart computing Center, aiming to become "Sach Valley of Vietnam".
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this will be a premise for the semiconductor industry of Bac Ninh to break through in the coming time.
At the same time, he hoped that the Group would contribute to making Bac Ninh a leading semiconductor industry center in Vietnam, promoting cooperation between the Group and private enterprises in the province, participating in the Group's supply chain.
Regarding the Group's recommendations, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Bac Ninh province is committed to accompanying, supporting, and creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to learn about investment opportunities and operate effectively in the area.
