On November 9, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province attended the "Bac Ninh school milk program for the period 2025-2030" at Tuan Dao Primary School, Tuan Dao commune.
After the merger of provinces, implement Resolution No. 31/2025/NQ-HDND dated August 11, 2025 of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province on regulations on milk support in educational institutions with preschool children and primary school students in the province for the period 2025-2030; The Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to implement the Program "Bac Ninh school milk for the period 2025-2030".
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to organize the selection of contractors and sign a framework agreement to provide milk to support educational institutions in the whole province.
Tuan Dao Primary School is the first school in Bac Ninh province to implement the "Bac Ninh School Milk Program for the period 2025-2030".
Next, the Program will be spread across Bac Ninh province with 817 schools; of which, there are 425 kindergartens (about 525,455 children); 389 primary and secondary schools (about 316,112 students). The total estimated implementation cost for the entire period of 2025 - 2030 is expected to be 4,155.7 billion VND.
Speaking at the Program, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that this is a Program of great humanitarian significance, a sustainable social security policy that the entire political system of the province is especially interested in, investing in and implementing vigorously.
The School Milk Program aims to ensure that all preschool children and primary school students have access to the best source of nutrition, contributing to comprehensive development of physical strength and intelligence.
At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness among parents, schools and society about the role of school nutrition, an important factor in the cause of comprehensive human development.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that with the active participation of all levels, sectors, teachers, businesses and parents, the Program will be implemented safely, effectively, fairly and to the right target.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that after the Program is implemented, the Department of Education and Training should have a general and comprehensive assessment of the development of physical height of students at all levels, as a basis for continuing to develop a plan to implement school meals throughout the province.
