The Department of Finance is responsible for advising the City People's Committee to recover VND 463.864 billion to the State budget and reduce it when settling the project with VND 2.542 billion due to violations in investment, construction and land use in Appendices No. 17/CT; 23/CT; 26/CT; 27/CT and 31/CT KLTT. Urge investors of 7 projects that have not yet deposited to immediately deposit VND 193.056 billion according to Appendix No. 12/CT KLTT.
Can Tho City leaders also strictly prohibit compensation for labor and construction machinery that is not in accordance with the provisions of the law on bidding. Conducted inspections and reviews of adjustments to labor and construction machinery prices that were not in accordance with legal regulations in 18 investment projects with the amount of VND 19.998 billion stated in Appendix 15/CT KLTT.
In addition, Can Tho City also requires departments and branches to seriously review and inspect the contractor selection plan; rectify and improve the quality of construction, promulgation and assignment of medium-term and annual public investment plans.
The directive document of the People's Committee of Can Tho City also clearly stated that during the implementation process, there were signs of violations discovered, and the competent authority was advised to transfer the file to the competent authority for handling in accordance with the provisions of law.
Earlier, in the KLTT, the Prime Minister asked the People's Committee of Can Tho City, the Chairman of the City People's Committee according to its competence to organize the review and clarifying the responsibilities of the collective and individual involved in order to occur shortcomings, limitations, shortcomings and violations. The Prime Minister also proposed the Prime Minister to direct the review and handling of responsibilities for the collective and individual leaders of Can Tho City People's Committee in periods related to shortcomings, limitations, shortcomings and violations.
