On July 24, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City signed and issued an Official Dispatch on receiving and processing online records submitted from the National Public Service Portal.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned Heads of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee, Heads of the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones, Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to strictly implement the contents according to the direction in Official Dispatch No. 6576/VPCP-KSTT dated July 15, 2025 of the Government Office.
Specifically, units are required to coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology to review, inspect and completely handle online records submitted from the National Public Service Portal that are late to receive or have expired (according to the attached list).
At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to arrange all cadres, civil servants, equipment and facilities to serve the reception and settlement of administrative procedures. In particular, special attention should be paid to communes, wards and areas with many records or new administrative procedures that are decentralized and have been assigned authority, in order to improve the quality of service to people and businesses in accordance with the direction in Official Dispatch No. 6576/VPCP-KSTT.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee also assigned the Director of the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the review, inspection and final handling of the above contents according to the proposal of the Government Office.
According to the statistical list, Can Tho City currently has 83 units with overdue records to process on the National Public Service Portal. Of which, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Can Tho City has the highest number with 387 overdue records; followed by the Department of Finance with 270 records; the People's Committee of Vi Thanh 1 Commune has 37 records; the People's Committee of Truong Long Tay Commune has 24 records; the remaining units have 1 to 24 records that are overdue for processing.
