The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that on the afternoon of March 6, 2025, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, who is on an official visit to Vietnam from March 6-7, 2025.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the results of the talks between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Adylbekymaliev; and the signing of documents by both sides to create a framework for promoting the comprehensive and effective development of bilateral cooperation; and believed that the visit would create new momentum for traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation, both of which are mutually beneficial between the two countries.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the National Assembly of Vietnam will continue to contribute positively to the cooperative relationship between the two countries with the National Assembly of Kyrgyzstan.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the two countries still have many potential and room and additional advantages to improve the effectiveness of economic cooperation; suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, transportation, education, culture, etc., to deepen and effectively develop the relationship.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed his gratitude for the warm and warm welcome that the National Assembly Chairman as well as the Vietnamese leaders and people have given to the Prime Minister and the Kyrgyzstan delegation; congratulated Vietnam on its socio-economic development achievements; affirmed his importance and desire to work with Vietnam to bring bilateral cooperation to new heights.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that Vietnam is a long-standing and important traditional friendship partner of Kyrgyzstan in Southeast Asia; wishes to strengthen traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam and through Vietnam to strengthen relations with ASEAN and Southeast Asian countries, ready to serve as a bridge between Vietnam and Central Asian countries.
The two sides agreed that in the coming time, the National Assemblies of the two countries will continue to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Asia- Europe Summit (MSEAP); exchange and support each other's positions on regional and international issues of mutual concern; increase exchanges of high-level delegations, delegations of committees, and groups of friends and Parliamentarians; send delegations to participate in multilateral parliamentary activities held in each country and develop common initiatives at these forums.
On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his gratitude to the Kyrgyz Government for creating conditions for the Vietnamese community to stabilize their lives, integrate into the host country and thereby contribute to the socio-economic development of the two countries and the Vietnam - Kyrgyzstan relationship.
