On the afternoon of September 29, the National Assembly Standing Committee held the 8th thematic National Assembly Delegation Conference, discussing a number of contents submitted to the National Assembly at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the conference took place over 2.5 days, discussing and giving opinions on 21 draft laws.
Accordingly, the Conference was innovated in the direction of organizing discussions in groups of fields, including: Economics, finance; Culture, society; National Defense, security, foreign affairs, supervision; Law, justice.
The National Assembly Chairman requested National Assembly deputies to clearly express their opinions on whether draft laws and resolutions are eligible to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval in the 10th Session or not.
At the same time, actively research, prepare concise and concise opinions, avoid duplication, have in-depth analysis, make convincing arguments and propose specific solutions on issues of asking for opinions or stipulated in the draft law.
The National Assembly Chairman also stated that the spirit of the 10th Session will solve all problems, not leaving unfinished work for the National Assembly in the next session.
In addition, the session is not held in 2 sessions, but is held continuously, taking advantage of working at night, working on Saturdays and Sundays to complete the set program early.
"This will create conditions for agencies and localities to summarize the year, complete the final contents of the term and prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term" - said the National Assembly Chairman.
The National Assembly agencies are required to urge and coordinate with drafting agencies to speed up the completion of the contents under their charge to ensure the progress of submitting to the National Assembly.
