On March 5, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman, Chairman of the National Election Council Tran Thanh Man and the Central working delegation inspected the actual voting area No. 17, Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai province.

At the inspection, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the locality in preparing facilities, voter lists, candidate lists, voter polling locations, ballot boxes and plans to ensure security and safety in the polling area.


After the merger, Dong Nai province has an area of 12,737 km2, ranking 9th/34 provinces and cities in the country; population size of nearly 4.5 million people. Diverse population structure with 37 ethnic groups living together; more than 421,000 ethnic minorities, accounting for 9.4% of the province's population. The province has more than 2.5 million religious followers, of which Catholic followers are about 1.4 million people. Along with that, the number of workers and laborers in industrial parks is very large, about 680,000 people.
Previously, on the morning of March 5, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also attended the launch ceremony of Component Project 1, compensation, support and resettlement of Huong Lo 2 route (section from National Highway 51 to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway).
The project was selected by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee to organize the launch to practically celebrate the 16th National Assembly Election Day and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
