On the morning of March 11, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang, Head of Working Group No. 2 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee chaired an inspection of election preparation work in Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, and Giang Vo wards.
Proactively and methodically prepare for the election
Reporting at the inspection, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ngoc Ha ward Le Thanh Nam said that the ward has proactively deployed election preparation work in accordance with the direction of the Central Government and the city. Propaganda and dissemination work has been widely organized to cadres, party members and people through conferences, party cell meetings and grassroots broadcasting systems, contributing to raising voters' awareness and responsibility towards the election.
Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Council Pham Quang Thanh said that the election preparation work in the area is being implemented synchronously, closely following the progress and regulations of the Election Law. Along with that, propaganda work is being implemented diversely through grassroots information systems, electronic information portals and social networking platforms; the work of ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting and resolving complaints and denunciations is being seriously implemented, and so far no petitions related to the election have arisen.
In Giang Vo ward, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Giang Vo ward Tong Hoc Nghia said that the ward has proactively and comprehensively deployed election preparation work. Voter meetings, election nghiệp vụ training and propaganda have been fully organized by the ward, ensuring progress, contributing to good preparation of conditions for election day.


Ensuring security, widespread propaganda
Speaking to direct at the inspection, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang, Head of Working Group No. 2, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the wards have achieved in election preparation. The contents related to consultation, making voter lists, as well as logistical preparation steps to serve the election have been implemented very thoroughly, methodically, in accordance with regulations and achieved very positive initial results.
According to the Chairman of the City People's Committee, regarding the preparation work, a very important content is how to make the election day truly become a festival for the whole people. Currently, wards have invested methodically in propaganda work, from visual propaganda, propaganda on cyberspace, propaganda through information and communication systems and the press. The propaganda contents are all deployed in the right direction, in accordance with requirements.
Regarding tasks for the coming time, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang suggested that in the remaining days before the election, wards need to continue to focus on a number of key tasks. First of all, it is the work of ensuring security and order, this is the number one task. If security and order are affected, even if there is only one case of vote loss, document loss or incitement or disturbance, it will greatly affect the overall results of the election.
It is requested that the police force continue to firmly grasp the situation, classify subjects, especially those showing signs of resistance or disturbing order, to have appropriate management measures, ensuring that they do not affect polling stations and voters when going to vote" - Mr. Vu Dai Thang proposed.

In addition, wards need to continue to ensure traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and other security conditions. The police force has a plan and needs to closely coordinate with relevant forces to ensure that no incidents occur during the election process.
Regarding propaganda work in the coming days, Mr. Vu Dai Thang requested wards to continue to promote information and propaganda about the meaning of the election, about the rights and obligations of voters; create conditions for all citizens to exercise their voting rights.
At the same time, continue to propagate through information systems, through mass organizations such as the Fatherland Front, women, youth... as well as through media channels and social networks.
Regarding polling stations, Mr. Vu Dai Thang requested wards to continue training and guiding forces participating at polling stations to ensure a solemn and receptive attitude to serve voters, in accordance with regulations; avoid collisions or inappropriate behaviors.
Regarding the voter list, Mr. Vu Dai Thang suggested that wards should continue to review and finalize the list in accordance with regulations.
In case voters do not receive voter cards or there are changes related to the list, it is necessary to handle them according to the correct procedure and make a full record to avoid arising complaints about citizens' rights.
