This decision was announced at a ceremony this morning, January 16, and takes effect from February 1, 2025.
The three new project management boards were established as follows: The Danang Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board was formed on the basis of merging the Danang Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board with the Danang Urban Development Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board. Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhat, former Director of the Danang Urban Development Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, will assume the position of Director of the new board.
The Da Nang Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works and Agriculture was established by merging the Da Nang Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development with the Da Nang Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works. Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy, former Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works, was appointed as the Director of the new board.
And the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City was established from the merger between the Management Board of Infrastructure Development Projects of Da Nang Industrial Parks and High-Tech Parks and the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Construction Investment Projects of Da Nang City. Mr. Le Thanh Hung, former Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of the City, continues to hold the position of Director of the new board.
The new Project Management Boards will have an organizational structure consisting of 4 departments: Organization - Administration Department, Finance - Planning Department, Appraisal Department and Operation - Supervision Department.
Also at the ceremony, the City People's Committee announced the decision to retire early for Mr. Nguyen Huu Hinh, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang, and Mr. Vo Tien Dung, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development in Da Nang.
This restructuring is expected to improve management efficiency, reduce overlap and speed up the progress of public investment projects in Da Nang city.
