Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop, born in 1968, is from Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province. He graduated from People's Security University, Senior level of political theory; is a cadre who grew up at the grassroots level and has experienced many leadership and command positions in units within the People's Public Security force.
In May 2022, Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop, currently Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Security, was mobilized and appointed by the Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police.
