Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman, Chairman of the National Election Council Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution 151 of the National Election Council on announcing the official list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly (NA) deputies according to each constituency nationwide.
According to the Resolution, the National Election Council decided on the list of 864 candidates for the 16th National Assembly in 182 constituencies nationwide to elect 500 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term.
In which, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has a number of electoral units of 13, the number of NA deputies elected is 38 people, and the number of candidates is 64 people.
Constituent unit No. 1 includes Thu Dau Mot, Thuan Giao, Thuan An, Binh Duong, Chanh Hiep, Phu Loi, Phu An, Lai Thieu, An Phu, Binh Hoa wards. There are 5 candidates, including Major General Vu Huy Khanh - Member who is a full-time NA Deputy in the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs.
Voting unit No. 2 includes Tay Nam, Long Nguyen, Chanh Phu Hoa, Thoi Hoa, Hoa Loi, Ben Cat, Binh Co, Tan Uyen wards and Minh Thanh, Dau Tieng, Long Hoa, Thanh An, Tru Van Tho, Bau Bang, An Long, Phu Giao, Phuoc Hoa, Phuoc Thanh, Bac Tan Uyen, Thuong Tan communes.
