On May 14, Chairman of Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee (Fatherland Front) Nguyen Lan Huong presided over the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City through a report and scheme to arrange and streamline the Fatherland Front organization, socio -political organizations, mass associations assigned by the Party and State under the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city and commune levels.
Maintaining the legal status of socio-political organizations
According to the draft project, the arrangement according to the principle: consolidating the advisory and assisting agencies with the Fatherland Front agency; maintain legal status of socio -political organizations, mass associations (with seals, separate accounts); Just ensure the operation of mass organizations and mass associations under the Fatherland Front, while ensuring the initiative and creativity of each organization.
After discussing the options, the conference unanimously approved the Submission and the Project for arrangement and streamlining.
Accordingly, the city level includes the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, keeping the number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi; When the congress, the number of new committee members will comply with the instructions of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi includes: Chairman and Vice Presidents in charge. Personnel Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi complies with Directive 45-CT/Tu dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo, assigning Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City.
The city's socio-political organizations (Location Federation, Women's Union, Farmers' Association, Veterans Association, City Youth Union) operate according to the Charter of each organization, with its own seal and account, ensuring the principle that the city's socio-political organizations operate under the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city.
The mass organizations are assigned by the Party and the State to Hanoi City, after the arrangement, there are 17 mass organizations.
Regarding the domestic service consulting agency, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City established 10 specialized and equivalent departments and public service units, affiliated economic units including: specialized and equivalent departments providing general service consulting and specialized departments directly advising the city's socio-political organizations.
Specifically: Office; Organizing Committee, inspection; Democratic Committee, social supervision and criticism; Trade Union Working Department; Farmer's working balance; Children's working balconies; Women's working balance; Veterans' Working Department (newly established 2 specialized departments); Propaganda and social mobilization committee; Ethnic, religious and mass working boards.
Also according to the arrangement plan, there are 9 public service units and affiliated economic units: Vietnam - Russia Friendship Labor Cultural Palace; Hanoi Trade Union Shelter; Capital Fund for Poor Workers, Civil Servants, and Workers to Develop Family Economy; Hanoi Trade Union Tourism Company Limited; Hanoi Youth Palace; Hanoi Children's Palace; Le Duan School; Center for Legal Consulting, Loan Support and Employment Services.
Regarding Party organization, the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee of Hanoi City is a grassroots Party Committee directly under the Party Committee of the city's Party agencies.
The project also stated that the end of the Vietnam Fatherland Front activities and socio -political organizations, the mass associations assigned by the Party and the State at the same time at the same time with the end of the activities of the party organization of the same level.

Speaking at the Conference Conclusion, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized that the draft project has been studied and developed democratic and thorough discussions on the basis of closely following and updating the guiding documents of the Central and the city.
Comrade Nguyen Lan Huong said that the arrangement and streamlining of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations is carried out synchronously with the Party organization model, ensuring unified direction according to the vertical sector system and the relative independence of mass organizations and associations.
For the model and names of specialized departments under the Front, the Project is implemented consistently according to Instruction No. 31 of the Central Organizing Committee.
For public non -business units include: Capital Labor Newspaper, Capital Youth, Capital Women, Projects on proposal to arrange according to the roadmap for arranging news agencies and city stations.
