On January 12, the supervision and inspection delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Electoral Council led by Mr. Le Minh Hoan - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly had a working session and inspected and supervised the preparation for the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Tran Yen commune, Lao Cai province.
Reporting to the Supervisory Delegation, leaders of Tran Yen commune said that immediately after the Election Steering Committee was established, the locality organized to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the guiding documents of the Central Government, the province and relevant departments and branches.
At the same time, focus on reviewing and assigning specific tasks to each member, ensuring the progress and quality of tasks according to the plan.
The Party Committee of Tran Yen commune has issued a Steering Plan for the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term of the commune. On that basis, the Commune People's Committee coordinated with the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to develop and fully issue directing documents and organize implementation.
The training in election nghiep vu for cadres, civil servants and non-specialized workers has been seriously implemented, contributing to ensuring unity in the process of organization and implementation.
Accordingly, the Tran Yen Commune Election Committee has been established, promptly consolidated when personnel changes occur, and at the same time established 1 assisting team and 4 assisting sub-committees including: Sub-committee on facilities, Sub-committee on ensuring security and social order and safety, Sub-committee on resolving complaints and denunciations and Sub-committee on information and propaganda.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Le Minh Hoan assessed that the preparation for the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies of all levels for the 2026-2031 term of Tran Yen commune is very methodical and thoughtful.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested Tran Yen commune to continue to grasp public opinion, focus on information and propaganda about the election with rich and diverse forms; focus on widely disseminating the meaning and importance of the election, and the rights and obligations of voters.
In addition, there are plans to ensure political security, social order and safety serving the election that are deployed synchronously; pay attention to regular inspection and supervision; do a good job of election training; receive citizens and resolve complaints (if any) in the correct order and according to the law.
