According to the inspection conclusion issued in December 2025, Khanh Hoa University is currently managing and using 3 houses and land facilities. Facility 1 at No. 1 Nguyen Chanh - No. 5 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang ward is determined to be used for the assigned purpose.
The remaining two facilities include: Facility 2 at No. 52 Pham Van Dong, Bac Nha Trang ward and Facility 3 in Khanh Thanh Nam village, Suoi Dau commune.

Businesses rent 100m2 but use more than 1,000m2.
Regarding facility 2 at No. 52 Pham Van Dong, the inspection agency recorded that the school basically used it for the right purpose. However, the lease of public assets still has violations.
The student parking lot on Bac Son street has a leasable area according to the contract of 100m2, for the purpose of providing parking services. The lease is based on Decision No. 3459 in 2019 of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee approving the Project on using public assets for lease purposes at Khanh Hoa University.
The school has signed a public asset lease contract with Aries Trading and Leasing Co., Ltd., for the period from December 15, 2021 to April 16, 2025, leased area of 100m2.
However, the inspection showed that the actual area the enterprise used to build parking lots was up to 1,076m2, an increase of 976.32m2 compared to the area recorded in the contract and the approved project.
In the working minutes dated October 13, 2025, Khanh Hoa University explained that it only collects rent according to the 100m2 area as signed in the contract.
After consideration, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate proposed that the school seriously learn from experience, and at the same time recover the area used outside the lease contract until the project is adjusted and approved by competent authorities.
Responsibility for the shortcomings and omissions belongs to Khanh Hoa University and Aries Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
Startup center but for growing bananas and raising chickens
Notably, at facility 3 in Khanh Thanh Nam village, Suoi Dau commune, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has allocated a total land area of 95,163.4m2 to Khanh Hoa University; issuing certificates of land management and use rights, ownership of houses and assets attached to land number 2019.
In 2020, the province agreed to allow the school to implement the project "Building a Research, Creative Experience and Startup Center of Khanh Hoa University".
However, because the project implementation area does not have a detailed 1/500 scale plan, the project has not yet been invested and built.
Through actual inspection, the Provincial Inspectorate recorded that short-term crops such as bananas, papayas, coconuts and chicken farming are being planted in this land area.
According to the general planning of Cam Lam new urban area until 2045 approved in Decision No. 205 2024 of the Prime Minister, a part of the land area is planned as specialized green land, and a part is an existing residential area.

The Inspectorate of Khanh Hoa province concluded that the above-mentioned houses and land were used ineffectively, not for the assigned purpose, and the land allocation was also not in accordance with current construction planning.
The Provincial Inspectorate proposed that the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assign relevant agencies and units to advise on the implementation of procedures for recovering these houses and land according to regulations, in order to avoid wasting state assets.
