Preserving heritage, opening up directions for cultural tourism development

Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Hung emphasized that organizing the festival in Khanh Hoa this time is of great significance as the locality is expanding its development space.

This is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa to promote its role as a center for conservation, research and promotion of Cham culture in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.

The festival is not only an activity to honor cultural identity but also contributes to concretizing the direction of cultural development to become an internal resource, an important driving force for sustainable development.

Values preserved by the Cham people such as traditional festivals, folk performance art, handicrafts, costumes, cuisine, beliefs and folk knowledge are precious cultural assets that need to be continued to be preserved and promoted in modern life.
