Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh issued Official Letter No. 5256/VPCP-KGVX directing relevant ministries, branches and localities to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of Vietnam.
Accordingly, in order to promptly implement the organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (02.9.1945 - 01.9.2025), Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested the Hanoi People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to urgently complete the Plan to organize commemorations, parades and parades.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Hanoi City to report to the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for opinions before promulgating; focus on directing site clearance to renovate and expand the Ba Dinh Square area for the celebration, parade and parade; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation situation before July 15, 2025.
The document requested the Ministry of National Defense to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to urgently complete and issue the parade and parade project in June 2025.
At the same time, organize well the training, gathering, parade, and related tasks; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 15, 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urgently preside over the development of a scenario for organizing the Ceremony, parade, and parade; build logos, identification sets, and symbols as gifts to serve meetings of Party and State leaders on the occasion of the anniversary.
In addition, develop a plan to establish a Press Center to direct and orient information on commemorative activities, especially celebrations, parades, and parades; prepare to organize a special art program and related tasks.
The Ministry of Public Security shall preside over the development of a plan to ensure absolute security and safety for commemorative activities, especially key activities with the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and international delegates.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will preside over the completion of the Plan to invite international delegates, foreign press reporters, and forces from countries to attend the Ceremony, parade, and commemorative activities, and submit it to the Secretariat in June 2025.
