On June 28, the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, 2021-2026, held the 33rd session (special session) to review, comment and approve draft resolutions and reports submitted by the Provincial People's Committee. Chairman of the People's Council of Be Thanh Tinh province and Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Nong Thanh Tung province chaired the meeting.
At the session, delegates reviewed 7 main contents including: Assigning and approving the payroll of civil servants, number of people working in public agencies and units in 2025; Converting forest use purposes (4th period); Amending regulations on decentralization of revenue sources and budget expenditure tasks; 2024 budget estimates and 2025 budget estimates; Adjusting the public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 (11th time); Plan to use increased revenue and expenditure savings in 2024; State financial report in 2024.
Delegates also discussed budget allocation, revenue division, protection of public assets in projects that do not continue to be invested in, and ensuring the rights of cadres and civil servants after the arrangement of administrative units.
The meeting proposed to elect Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Director of the Provincial Police, to hold the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
After the working session, the People's Council of Cao Bang province passed 7 resolutions. The two resolutions related to the payroll have been renamed "temporary allocation" and "temporary approval" resolutions.
