According to the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, in recent times, environmental sanitation, urban management and embellishment have been regularly directed by the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee.
However, many places have not yet clearly changed, and there are still problems such as: littering; encroachment on sidewalks; illegal advertising and display; urban management is still not synchronous and does not rely on people.
To overcome the above situation and urgently improve the quality of environmental sanitation and urban order management in the city in the coming time, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over the consultation of the City Party Committee's Directive and organize the launching ceremony on August 2, 2025; synthesize the situation, periodically report weekly starting from July 22, 2025.
In particular, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to study and implement the low-emission zone in Ring Road 2 in 2025. Urge the wards of Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo to urgently deploy the development of a Low Emission Area Project in the area according to the direction of the City People's Committee and Directive No. 20 of the Prime Minister.
