On November 6, at the Eastern Cultural Center (Hai Duong City), a memorandum of understanding was signed to strengthen cooperation and friendly exchange between the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and the government of Foshan city, Guangdong province (China).
Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representing the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee participated in the signing. On the side of Foshan City, Mr. Luu Kiet - Permanent Deputy Mayor of Foshan City participated in the signing of the memorandum.
At the same time, the two sides also agreed to maintain regular contact between leaders and relevant agencies to discuss the content of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung suggested that Foshan city support connecting Chinese investors in general and Foshan in particular to learn about investment in Hai Duong in a number of industrial development fields.
Hai Duong province also hopes that Foshan city will support promotional activities to export key agricultural products, handicrafts, and OCOP products of Hai Duong province to the Chinese market.
At the same time, the two localities will promote cultural exchanges, create conditions for young athletes to exchange experiences in Foshan, and send coaches with achievements and experience to provide long-term training for Hai Duong's strong sports.
Mr. Luu Kiet - Permanent Deputy Mayor of Foshan City, commented that Hai Duong Province and Foshan City have many similarities in natural and social conditions as well as potential and economic development orientation. This will create many opportunities for the two localities to cooperate and develop together in the coming time.
Foshan City wishes to explore models and cooperate in vocational education and skills training for foreign enterprises through human resource training, technical service provision, student exchange, research, and teacher training, so as to promote mutual learning between the two sides.
Representatives of Foshan city invited the Hai Duong province performing arts team to participate in the "Autumn Colors" event next year, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations.
At the same time, Hai Duong province continues to send working delegations to Foshan city to learn about the market and promote investment.
