At the conference, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Phan Xuan Toan presented the project to establish the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, departments and branches under the state sector, along with transferring the Party Committee of Hue Central Hospital, Hue University and Hue Music Academy to the Party Committee of Hue City People's Committee.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision on personnel, appointing Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Chief of Office of the City People's Committee and Mr. Ho Thanh Hai, Director of the City People's Procuracy, to join the City Party Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to establish Party Committees of Party agencies, appointing Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien to hold the position of Party Secretary of Party agencies from March 1, 2025. The City Party Committee also established the City People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, appointing Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong as Party Secretary.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision to merge the Propaganda Department and the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department into the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, assigning the reporter of the Hoang Khanh Hung City Party Committee to hold the position of Head of the Department. The conference also appointed Mr. Ho Xuan Trang and Mr. Ho Thang as Deputy Heads of this Committee.
The conference elected additional members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term and implemented the process of introducing personnel for the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
Closing the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Truong Luu emphasized the need for political determination and strong innovation to achieve the growth target of over 10% in 2025, and suggested that leaders at all levels focus on completing key tasks, preparing well for important events such as the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025.
