On July 29, the Central Internal Affairs Commission - the Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption, anti-negative phenomena (ACANP) - announced that this morning, Inspection Team No. 2 of the Central Steering Committee on ACANP implemented the Inspection Plan on the leadership, direction, and organization of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negative phenomena through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution activities in Ca Mau province.
Mr. Vo Van Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Member of the Central Steering Committee on ACANP, Head of the Inspection Team - chaired the conference.
According to the report at the Conference, recently, the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee on ACANP in Ca Mau have paid attention to leading and directing the detection and handling of corruption, economic, and negative cases according to the Party's regulations and the State's laws;
Timely detection, transfer, and strict, synchronized handling between party discipline and administrative discipline and criminal handling of acts of corruption, negative phenomena, and acts with signs of economic crimes;
The investigation, prosecution, and trial of corruption, economic, and negative cases have been focused and promoted; the procedural agencies have closely coordinated and accelerated the resolution of cases and incidents.
However, during the inspection process, the inspection agency sometimes did not promptly transfer the inspection committee for handling party organizations and party members with signs of violations; the coordination between the party committee, inspection committee, inspection agency, procedural agencies, and the party organization where the party member resides was sometimes not tight and timely.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Vo Van Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the self-inspection report of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for being serious, comprehensive, responsible, and timely.
Mr. Vo Van Dung emphasized the coordination between agencies for ACANP; especially the leadership, direction, and organization of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negative phenomena through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution activities, which are always highly valued by the Central Steering Committee.
This year, the Central Steering Committee on ACANP selected this topic to evaluate the achieved results, existing limitations, difficulties, obstacles, and causes in the leadership, direction, and organization of the coordination mechanism of party committees, party organizations, and functional agencies; thereby proposing tasks and solutions to overcome existing limitations, difficulties, obstacles, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency in implementing the coordination mechanism between agencies.
