However, alongside the opportunity are extremely fierce challenges. Hostile, reactionary and political opportunistic forces are thoroughly taking advantage of cyberspace, using algorithms and cross-border social networks to carry out "peaceful evolution".
Their tricks are increasingly sophisticated and cunning: From arbitrarily editing and interpreting his statements, entertaining, "privatizing" history to overthrow and deny idols, to deliberately separating and opposing Ho Chi Minh's ideology to Marxism-Leninism. More dangerously, they also use new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), deepfake to create fake information, distort the truth, in order to undermine the people's trust, especially the younger generation, in the Party and the regime.
Mastering the digital ideological space and building a "people's heart formation
To protect and spread Ho Chi Minh's legacy, his ideology, ethics, methods and style need to be "encoded" with the language of the technology era. Propaganda must not only stop at traditional forms but must change thinking, strongly shift to interactive, multimedia communication on digital platforms.
In which, it is necessary to promote the digitization of heritage and build a "Digital Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space". It is necessary to focus on digitizing documents, artifacts, and historical relics about Uncle Ho, applying 3D technology, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to create virtual museums and online exhibitions. Currently, the "Digital Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" model in many localities and schools has integrated QR codes, helping viewers easily scan and look up images, videos, and works of Uncle Ho through smartphones, creating an intuitive, vivid and seamless learning experience.
Along with that, it is necessary to diversify modern media products. In addition to in-depth, academic articles, propaganda work needs to use concise, easy-to-reach and highly contagious formats such as: Infographics, short video clips, podcasts and storytelling (telling stories) or appropriate types of digital creativity. When the lessons of morality and style of the One are recounted through simple everyday stories, combined with sharp sound and graphic images, it will easily touch the hearts and emotions of young people, helping them voluntarily receive and follow.
Protecting the Party's ideological foundation is not just passive defense but must be proactive in attacking, "using beauty to eliminate ugliness", using mainstream information to orient public opinion, and proactively preventing "from early and far".
On the one hand, it is necessary to apply high technology to ideological management. The use of AI, big data (Big Data) and social listening tools (Social Listening) to monitor and analyze social moods, and early identify fake and malicious news campaigns. On the other hand, the real strength lies in building a "people's heart battleground" in cyberspace. Therefore, it is necessary to arouse the patriotism and revolutionary ideals of the masses, turning each social network user into a "soldier" on the ideological battlefield. When people, especially young people, are equipped with digital "resistance" and critical thinking, they will create a solid "firewall" to eliminate harmful information.
By smoothly combining sustainable traditional values and the power of modern technology, we not only firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation against all insidious plots, but also make Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, methods, and style last and deeply penetrate social life. That is the spiritual launching pad, the strong impetus for the Vietnamese nation to firmly step forward, confidently realize the aspiration to develop a powerful, prosperous, and happy country in the new era.
