On the afternoon of August 26, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.
According to the Decision, Ms. Tran Thi Van Thuy will hold the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province from September 1, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
Ms. Thuy was born in 1983, holds a Master's degree in Economic Management, and has a high level of political theory. She used to work as a specialist in charge of the International Cooperation Department, concurrently Director of the Information and Foreign Service Center under the Department of Foreign Affairs.
After that, she successively held the positions of Deputy Head of Department, Head of International Cooperation Department. From 2020 to present, she is Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province.
Awarding the decision and assigning tasks, Standing Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Dinh Huu Hoc requested Ms. Thuy to continue to promote professional capacity, strengths, play a good role in leadership and management and work with the collective agency to complete tasks.
Mr. Hoc also requested officials and civil servants of the Department of Foreign Affairs to maintain solidarity and support the new director in his work.
Ms. Thuy said that the new task is both an honor and a great responsibility; committed to continuing to train, improve expertise, and strengthen coordination with agencies and units to complete the assigned tasks.
