On the afternoon of August 18, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce decisions to consolidate leaders of the Department of Home Affairs.
According to Decision 1499 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Trinh Tien Duy, Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Dang commune, holds the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs from August 18, 2026.
Mr. Duy was born in 1980, holds a Master's degree in Law, a Bachelor of English Language and a high-level level of political theory.
Before being appointed, he held the positions of Head of Internal Affairs Department under the Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Chief of Office of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee; former Secretary of Cao Loc District Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Dang Commune People's Council.
Mr. Duy succeeded Ms. Hoang Thi Hien, who was transferred by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to become a member of the Lang Son Provincial Thematic Research Department.
On the same day, the Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee appointed Ms. Dinh Thi Anh Thu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Cai Kinh commune, as Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs. The decision takes effect from August 18, 2026, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
Ms. Thu was born in 1985, Tay ethnicity, holds a master's degree in Economic Management and Policy, and a bachelor's degree in Pedagogy.
She used to be Deputy Secretary of the former Cao Loc District Youth Union; head of departments under the Provincial Youth Union; Standing Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Lang Son province; Standing Deputy Secretary of the former Huu Lung District Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cai Kinh commune.
Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Nhan requested the two officials who have just been appointed and the collective of the Department of Home Affairs to promptly implement tasks in 2026 and the following years.
