Dear leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front,
Dear veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, representatives of all classes of intellectuals, intellectuals, religions, ethnicities and laborers
Dear compatriots, comrades across the country and the Vietnamese community abroad.
Today, at Hung Temple, the sacred origin of the Vietnamese nation, we solemnly celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Hung Temple and the inauguration of the Monument "Uncle Ho with the Festival of Mountains and Rivers". In emotion and pride, we respectfully commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings, the ancestors, beloved President Ho Chi Minh and generations of revolutionaries, heroic martyrs and the "Vietnamese people" who have contributed and sacrificed for the independence, freedom, sovereignty, territorial integrity of the Fatherland, for the development of the country, for the happiness of the people, for the longevity of the nation.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I send to the delegates, compatriots, soldiers nationwide and our compatriots abroad my sincere greetings, wishes for health and happiness.
On September 19, 1954, before the troops returned to take over Hanoi Capital, at Gieng Temple, Uncle Ho met with cadres and soldiers of the Pioneer Army Division and instructed: "The Hung Kings have contributed to building the country, Uncle and our children must join hands to defend the country". Uncle's words followed the merits of ancestors with the responsibility of generations to continue, placing the revolutionary cause in the historical flow of building and defending the nation of the nation.
From that reminder, each generation of Vietnamese people clearly recognizes the duty to preserve the fortune of their ancestors and make the country develop more and more. The independence traded for so much blood and bones must be firmly protected. The achievements of the previous generation must be continued by the worthy contributions of today's generation, so that children and grandchildren can live in peace and have better development conditions.
The statue "Uncle Ho with the country festival" inaugurated today expresses the deep feelings of the people towards Him. In the space of the nation's origins, the image of Uncle Ho connects all eras, evoking compatriotism and the strength of solidarity of all Vietnamese people. Along with the relief of Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Pioneer Corps, the project helps generations understand more deeply Uncle Ho's teachings, and be more aware of their responsibility to the country.
The long-lasting value of the project is reflected in the awareness, feelings and actions of each person when coming here: cherishing history, further loving the Fatherland and living responsibly with the community. I acknowledge and commend the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee, the Government and people of ethnic groups in Phu Tho province, relevant agencies and units; respectfully thank scientists, artists, architects, artisans, officials, soldiers, workers and people for their enthusiastic contributions and efforts to the special project "Uncle Ho with the festival of the country".
Dear compatriots, comrades,
Under the leadership of the Party, following the path chosen by President Ho Chi Minh, our people have won national independence, unified the country, steadily moving towards socialism. Over 40 years of renovation, the country has achieved great and historically significant achievements. We appreciate the efforts of compatriots, soldiers across the country, the Vietnamese community abroad and the assistance of international friends. That achievement is the foundation for the country to continue to move forward.
In a world of many fluctuations, peace, development and the autonomy of each nation are facing new challenges. Implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, we must strongly promote internal strength, proactively seize opportunities, closely combine building and protecting the Fatherland, between national strength and the strength of the times to build and develop the country.
Engraving Uncle Ho's words, we resolutely and persistently protect independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity; protect the Party, State, People and socialist regime. We must proactively protect the Fatherland from an early and distant stage; build a strong all-people national defense and people's security, firmly based on the people's hearts. The strength to protect the country must be built by economic strength, scientific and technological capacity, and the will of national unity.
Having gone through many sacrifices to gain independence, the Vietnamese nation deeply understands the value of peace. We are steadfast in the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, and diversification of international relations; resolving disagreements by peaceful means on the basis of international law. Maintaining peace to build the country and making responsible contributions to the international community is the interest and aspiration of our people.
Maintaining a sustainable country requires building an increasingly rich and strong country. We must promote the intelligence, talent and creativity of Vietnamese people, improve productivity, master technology, build an economy with high competitiveness and resilience. Each policy must be organized and implemented thoroughly, unlock resources and create conditions for the People to contribute. Patriotism must become a capacity to make the country stronger and people's lives better.
The goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry, high average income by 2030, and a developed country with high income by 2045 requires us to act decisively from today. Each step forward must be associated with improving people's lives, protecting the environment and preserving cultural identity. Developing the country is a responsibility for those who have sacrificed and for future generations.
In Uncle Ho's teachings, the two words "together" remind us of the strength of the great national unity. Building and defending the country is the cause of all Vietnamese people, in all regions of the country and across five continents. Compatriots' affection, awareness of shared destiny must be nurtured by trust, sharing and opportunities to contribute to the country.
Unity must begin with listening to the People, promoting the right to mastery, ensuring fairness and respecting the diversity of communities. Each person must have conditions to develop their abilities, be recognized for their efforts and enjoy the fruits of development. Compatriots in remote and isolated areas, people in difficult circumstances must be practically cared for. When people see their future in the future of the country, the great unity bloc becomes stronger.
Also in the 1954 meeting, Uncle Ho instructed soldiers to strictly maintain discipline, protect lives and property, help and not cause trouble to the people. That teaching reminds us of the origin of the strength to defend the country. The Party must constantly innovate, self-rectify, maintain integrity, and be closely associated with the people; the state apparatus must be honest, operate effectively and efficiently. It is necessary to resolutely fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; promote the exemplary responsibility of the head. The respect and love for Uncle Ho must be expressed by his dedication to serving the people.
That spirit requires the implementation of Directive No. 07 of the Politburo, studying and practicing following Uncle Ho must become a regular task, deeply ingrained in the thinking and ways of doing of each cadre and party member. It is necessary to especially value Ho Chi Minh's method: being deeply involved in the grassroots, understanding reality, accurately identifying what needs to be done; promoting democracy, listening to and under the supervision of the People. The leader must go ahead in difficult tasks, maintain integrity, match words with deeds, implement to the end and have practical results. In front of Uncle Ho's statue, each of us must ask ourselves what we have done usefully for the people and the country. The results of studying and practicing following Uncle Ho must be shown in better work, and people are served better.
Dear compatriots, comrades,
Culture nurtures patriotism and national bravery, creating a foundation for the country to develop sustainably. Implementing Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing Vietnamese culture, we must care about building people, preserving heritage and making good values deeply ingrained in life. The monument inaugurated today needs to be promoted as a place to educate history, foster feelings and civic responsibility.
I propose that Phu Tho province coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to manage and protect the project for a long time, scientifically; preserve the solemnity, landscape and original value of the Relic Site. Source activities must be practical, the content introduction is accurate, easy to understand, and suitable for each age group. It is necessary to apply technology so that people far away and international friends can access and learn about Vietnamese history and culture.
Phu Tho has the honor and responsibility to preserve the Ancestral Land, where compatriots across the country look towards. In the new development space, the province needs to cherish cultural diversity, promote the spirit of solidarity, and link heritage preservation with improving people's lives. The community preserving heritage must participate and benefit from the process of promoting heritage values. Preserving the Ancestral Land is a common responsibility of the whole country; central agencies need to coordinate and support Phu Tho to fulfill this responsibility well.
For teenagers, I hope that every time they come to Hung Temple, they will understand more about history and see their responsibilities clearly. Study and train to have knowledge, bravery, and health; live honestly, kindly, and know how to share; confidently master science and technology and reach out to the world. The Party, State and society must create conditions for the young generation to develop their talents and contribute to the Fatherland.
Dear compatriots, comrades,
Before the spirits of the Hung Kings and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, we vow to promote the strength of the great national unity, successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress. Today's generation has the responsibility to give our children and grandchildren a more independent and sustainable country, with stronger strength and a better life. That is a practical way for us to implement Uncle Ho's advice at Hung Temple.
Wishing the delegates, compatriots, comrades and children good health, happiness, and success.
Thank you very much. /.
