According to the announced decisions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City decided to change the name of the Movement Committee to the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City ends the operation of the Organizing - Propaganda Department; Transferring the functions and tasks of the Organizing - Propaganda Department to the Office and the professional departments of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. Specifically, transfer the functions and tasks of advising on the work of Organization - Emulation - Reward; Religion - Ethnicity; Foreign Affairs - overseas Vietnamese to the Office; transfer the functions and tasks of advising on Propaganda work to the Social Propaganda and Mobilization Department.
At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City also announced the decision to issue Regulations on the functions, tasks, organization of the apparatus, and staffing of the Office and specialized departments under the agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
The Committees and Officees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city are responsible for performing their functions and tasks according to the Law on the Front, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Regulations on functions, tasks, organization of apparatus, and staffing issued by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
According to Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City, through the arrangement, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City has reduced from 4 to 3 units to help streamline the apparatus, enhance the responsibility of cadres and carry out the long-term task of restructuring the civil service team.
