On the morning of April 17, in Hanoi, the 3rd Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) X session took place.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - former Vice President, member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said that through the recent fake milk case, the issue of responsibility belongs to whom?
"A meal is managed by 5 people, so who is responsible for the fake milk crop now? The Ministry of Industry and Trade said yesterday that it is not not under its management, so whose? I would like to clarify who manages this type of milk and this food?" - Ms. Doan asked.
Ms. Doan also mentioned street food. According to her, who would manage street food for students to buy for 5,000-10,000 VND/meat? Dirty meat or clean meat?
Former Vice President and member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee recommended clarifying the management unit to protect the health of the people and clarifying who is responsible.
Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the Advisory Council on Democracy and Law, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - also recommended strongly condemning and finding drastic and effective solutions to solve the "victim" related to the case of nearly 600 types of fake milk.
He cited the fact that the two enterprises Rance Pharma and Hacofood Group have "deceased" people in 4 years of production, consuming nearly 600 fake powdered milk brands of all kinds for people with diabetes, kidney failure, premature babies, pregnant women, with revenue of nearly 500 billion VND.
Mr. Duong was upset: The advertisement stated the ingredients extracted from bird's nest, herring, macadamia flour, walnut flour... but in reality, the product does not have these substances at all. Next are famous figures in showbiz, with very big advertisements, "deceiving the people" for 4 consecutive years.
Therefore, Mr. Duong believes that this problem must be condemned and stopped, and requested that the authorities must detect and handle it soon.
Ms. Bui Thi Thanh - former Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - also stated the reality that currently, people are very worried about many issues such as the situation of fake milk, counterfeit drugs that are very painful, affecting people's health, or the situation of fraud in cyberspace...
From the above situation, Ms. Thanh suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front should recommend to the Party and the Government to promptly strictly handle high-tech crimes, crimes of manufacturing and trading counterfeit goods, poor quality goods...
After implementing the merger of administrative units and the arrangement of the apparatus, the Party and State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front need to continue researching and listening to opinions to detect inadequacies to make reasonable adjustments to help ensure the rights of the people.
