Accordingly, voters in Hai Duong province requested to consider and research additional policies to care for former youth volunteers participating in overcoming the war and building the economy after 1975.
Regarding this content, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an official response to voters in Hai Duong province.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that there have been many policies for young volunteers to complete their tasks in the resistance war, participate in the war to protect the Fatherland and do international missions.
Over the past time, the Party and State have always paid attention and issued many regimes and policies for young volunteers to complete their tasks in the resistance war, participate in the war to protect the Fatherland and carry out international missions:
a) Regimes and policies for young volunteers who sacrifice, are injured, or are exposed to toxic chemicals are implemented in accordance with the law on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
b) One-time allowance for living youth volunteers, deceased youth volunteers, monthly allowance, health insurance, funeral allowance for youth volunteers Death is carried out according to the regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister.
Regarding policies for youth volunteers participating in overcoming war consequences, building and developing the economy after April 30, 1975:
Implementing the policies of the Party and State, the People's Committees of a number of provinces and cities have mobilized and organized youth volunteer forces to participate in overcoming the consequences of war and building new economic zones in a number of provinces and cities. city.
Accordingly, during the process of performing tasks (from enlistment to completing the task), officers and members of the youth volunteer team have enjoyed the current regimes and policies of Decree No. 112/2017. /ND-CP dated October 6, 2017, Decree No. 146/2018/ND-CP dated October 17, 2018 of the Government, Decision No. 290/2005/QD-TTg dated November 8, 2005, Decision No. 188/2007/QD -TTg dated December 6, 2007, Decision No. 170/2008/QD-TTg dated December 18, 2008, Decision No. 40/2011/QD-TTg dated July 27, 2011, Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg dated November 9. 2011 of the Prime Minister, State and localities according to each specific industry, field and area of operation.
Therefore, up to now, the State has not had a policy to resolve the remuneration policy for this force.
Based on the opinions of some localities on proposing policies for youth volunteers to participate in overcoming the consequences of war, building the economy in the post-1975 period and in reality in the process of resolving the regime. , policy for former youth volunteers, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been coordinating with the Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, relevant agencies, and localities to organize Organize surveys, determine criteria and compile data as a basis for researching policies for this subject.
