On the afternoon of July 14, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work and sign commitments to implement Regulations on responsibilities and handling of responsibilities for heads and deputy heads.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Tran Phong said that the locality is entering a new stage of development with many major goals and heavy tasks.
In the context of increasingly large management scale and higher work requirements, each leading cadre, especially the head and deputy head, must be more drastic, more responsible and improve the efficiency of task implementation...

That is also the reason why the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued Regulations on responsibilities and handling of responsibilities for heads and deputy heads of agencies, units, and localities under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
At the same time, organize the signing of commitments in the presence of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and officials under the management of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the issuance of regulations and the organization of signing commitments is not aimed at creating more administrative procedures or putting pressure on officials.
According to Mr. Tran Phong, the commitment is not for formality but a promise to the Party organization, to the collective and the people about the spirit of responsibility and determination to complete the assigned tasks.
What the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee is concerned about is not the signing of commitments, but the results after commitments.
Progress, work quality; the ability to remove difficulties and obstacles for people and businesses will be a substantive measure to assess the responsibility of the head and the deputy head.
To ensure that regulations go into life, Mr. Tran Phong requested that heads and deputy heads must consider responsibility as the honor of a cadre; be exemplary, match words with deeds, and do it thoroughly.
When assigned tasks, they must proactively implement, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles; not avoid, not push, not wait for reminders; and at the same time encourage and protect officials who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested to build a list of substantive work products, associated with assigned responsibilities and tasks, implemented according to the requirements of "clear people, clear tasks, clear time, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear authority"; building a united, democratic working environment, supporting each other in work and life.
